Born out of necessity and a burning desire to unify and unite equestrian professionals worldwide in the art of Bit and Bridle Fitting, School of Equine Bitting was born.

Meet Fiona
Fiona has worked as a riding coach, horse trainer and more recently full time as a bit fitter.
A strong interest in bits and how they interact with horse and rider combinations led her down the path of increasing her knowledge and she’s been a Bit Bank Australia Accredited Bit Fitter for four years. Fiona is passionate about horses from pleasure to high level competition standard having a well fitting bit appropriate for the horse as well as the horse and rider as a combination. As Bit Right Equine she’s based near Ballarat in Victoria and covers a large geographical area for equine bit fitting.
Her background in the music and performing arts sector as well as being an equine professional for many years leads her to be an excellent communicator and educator. She facilitates Horsewomen’s Retreats with Hilltop Horsemanship and has presented across Australia and New Zealand working with women returning to riding and nervous riders. Fiona regularly presents at Pony Clubs, Adult Riding Clubs and has presented webinars for Pony Club Australia and the Barastoc Junior Squad amongst others.
Training new bit fitters into this exciting field is something she’s very much looking forward to.
Meet Charmae
Charmae is extremely passionate about providing 5 star horse care, comfort and health.
Charmae has been a bitting specialist since 2014, and has helped hundreds of horses and riders to get the most out of every ride. Whether it is dressage, jumping, cross country or just pleasure riding or breaking in. Charmae has been educating bit fitters since 2019 in Australia and is now taking her skill set to the world stage.
She been working with horses consistently from a young age - from harness and thoroughbred racing, to polocrosse, rodeos, pony club, endurance, dressage and hacking. There isn't much she hasn't come across or tried! She is committed to constantly learning and bringing you the most up to date information and equestrian products from around the world.
